I had a great accountability check early this morning.

I woke up about 4:30 a.m. reached for my phone to post my blog. It is a habit of mine. The post is scheduled to go live at 4 a.m. and I like to get it out early. I posted the blog to all the normal sites. While I still had my phone in my hand I clicked on the weather app. I wanted to see what the temperature was outside.

16 degrees…

I pulled my cover higher up around my neck to keep warm. About that time my wife ask if I were going to the gym as I had mentioned it the night before. I told her how cold it was and she said, “you are not going to let a little cold weather keep you from the gym are you?”

Right then I jumped out of bed knowing if I did not move now I would skip the gym.

My wife unknowingly held me accountable. She reminded me of what I said I was going to do.

I love that she was willing to ask that question.
