Recently I have been looking for lost time. Time that could be spent on something better or replacing time wasted with an activity sure to move me forward each day. After all we each have 24 hours in a day, how was I using my account?

Reviewing my days I have extended my hours to include more of the important things early in the day, this is when my energy is highest. Waking as early as 3:30 a.m. in order to take a walk or work out, write a blog post, text my wife, review my notes for the day and take in some motivation all this before breakfast and catching a 8 a.m. flight.

Having examined my time while looking for those wasted moments I found a 6-7 hours in most weeks I could use better.

Using Uber the past couple of months for my ride to the airport I found myself mesmerized by the traffic. The commute is 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic, than an hour prior to flight time and an hour flight. There was a gold mine of time if I would make the effort to use it wisely.

One of the activities needing additional time was reading. After all changing your world has to start with a thought, and where better to adventure each day than a book expanding your awareness and taking me places where I have never been. Teaching me more about success, travel or teaching me new methods and motivation.

Where can you find thirty minutes a day and reassign your effort moving you forward a little bit each day?

If nothing else find 10 Seconds Daily in a quiet space to take a few deep breaths and relax in a chair in a corner and remind yourself you are worth it.

Thanks for joining me today.
