Have  you made history this year?

That is a silly question, we have all made history. Let’s rephrase the question. Did you make progress this year on your big goals?

If you are not keeping some semblance of a log, blog or journal you may consider taking the time to understand why we journal. I journal because I can not remember everything I need to do or more importantly what I accomplished. I have actually changed my to-do list to a to-done list. It takes the pressure off as I move through the day.

We are half way through the year, if you follow me on a regular basis you know what I am getting ready to say.

Take time to review your goals you set for 2016.

  1. Are you on track?
  2. What have you completed?
  3. What do you need to do to get where you should to be?

There is still plenty of time left in the year to accomplish all those goals we talk about.

Ask yourself a couple of questions and write down your answers.

  1. Why did I set “that” goal in the first place.
  2. Why was it important for me?
  3. What am I willing to do to complete those steps?
  4. Who else knows?

I know life gets in the way of life. I know bad things happen to good people.

You still have to move forward, even in the rough times.

Missing my office partner this morning.
