Be accountable for your day, or lose it.
Have you ever read one of Og Mandino’s books? Maybe the best known is “The World’s Greatest Salesman”. It was originally published in 1968 and has sold millions.
I believe the concept was new and ahead of the times. The idea was to take one scroll and read and re-read throughout the day several times for thirty days. Then proceed to the next scroll and repeat. The book was intended to take ten months if read properly.
I love the action portion. I have crafted my books to take action, however mine are a different action each day for thirty days.
The amazing thing as you read the scroll you could come up with your own idea of the meaning. As with this first scroll we will review. I will live this day as if it were my last.
To me it says I do not have a tomorrow to look forward to, this would be my last day on the earth.
I could not be more wrong. According to a speaker I heard the meaning is you will only have one today so get all you can from the day.
You take from the scroll what ever your meaning and go with that meaning. Both meanings say to take advantage of the time you have to spend because none of us are getting out of this alive. Live your life to the fullest with no regrets.
That is my take and my challenge to you. We are not promised a tomorrow any of us.
So live today as if it were your last.
See you down the road.
