Finding Your True North by Anne Bruce talks about Authentic Power. The book says you have authentic power when your truest self and soul align.
The book quotes Ralph Waldo Emerson, “What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us”. Anne Bruce completes the thought with the following, ” I believe that what lies within us is all that we can become, all that we stand for, and all that we believe-this is our authentic selves.
What if we were working with our truest self and soul aligned?
Could we work with more purpose, passion, confidence and drive?
Would it feel like “work” or would you be excited to start your day?
Do you know what the truest self looks like?
You must be able to answer some questions such as what soulful practices or hobbies do you have? This may be as simple as walking, where you may find clarity. Maybe you like to garden, or jog, or fish. In these times when we are doing what we enjoy we relax and are able to live closer to what we were designed for, and thus making us happier while spending this time.
