“Taken Out Of The Game”

Have you ever been involved in an activity and were taken out of the game.

I had a great reminder this week of what it feels like to be taken out of the game. It is another four letter word we all dislike, I was sick! I don’t get taken out of the game even when I am sick, normally. If you have allergies you know that feeling when they are coming, that tickle in your throat. If you are like me you try to get ahead of what is coming, the watery eyes, congestion, coughing and so on.

I took the recommended medicines to relieve my discomfort of not being able to breathe, or see though my watery eyes. The next thing I know is my concentration is gone, although it was not until this morning I realized the previous day was gone.

Well the fog is starting to clear along with my vision as the watery eyes have gotten better.

I was amazed at how quickly and quietly I was taken off of my game plan. I had a lot to do yesterday and poof, it was gone. Never to be seen again. Now it is time for me to reset my expectations for today. What is my plan to get back on my game? Practice what I preach!

Hope you have a wonderful day, and if you get pulled from your game, re-set and jump back in.
